مرحله دوم: اجزای اصلی قليان

در اين مرحله اجزای پايه سخت افزاری قليان را مشاهده ميکنيد:

1- آتشدان قليان: محل قرار گيری تنباکو و آتش.

2- سينی قليان: برای جلوگيری از ريختن خاکستر و زغال بر روی زمين. (الزامی نيست و ممکن است همراه قليان شما نباشد.)

3- ميانه قليان: که مي تواند از جنس چوب يا فلز باشد. قليانهای عربی معمولا فلزی هستند و نی وسط آنها جدا نمی شود.

4- کوزه قليان: آبی که دود قليان را تصفيه مي کند در کوزه قليان است و به صورت های شيشه ای يا گلی يا چرمی ( برای استفاده روی اسب در قديم) موجود است.

5- شلنگ يا نی قليان: شلنگ يا نی برای پُک زدن قليان استفاده می شود.

Step 2: Main Pieces

As you see in the picture, a typical water-pipe is shipped with 5 main pieces:
1- Fireplace: where the Tobacco and Coal goes.
2- Plate: secures the area from the ash and coal. (This is not shipped with all brands)
3- Main body: this part can made out of metal or wood. Arabic water-pipes are usually metallic.
4- Bubble: the container which holds the water. the smoke of the water-pipe will be filtered by the water inside the bubble. the bubble can be made out of glass, clay or leather.
5- Pipe: the pipe is to take puffs.
